Supplier identification and evaluation
A structured look at who a supplier is, what they can make, and what evidence supports it.
Supplier Identification & Evaluation
- Company registration and identity checks
- Capability and capacity questionnaires
- Certification evidence review
- Sample and reference requests
- Coordination of third-party factory audits on request
Supplier risk is easiest to manage before the first order. A structured evaluation looks at legal identity, production capability, quality systems, certifications, export experience and financial and reputational signals.
We assess prospective suppliers against criteria agreed with you and report what was checked, what evidence was obtained and what remains unverified. We do not describe suppliers as 'verified' beyond the checks actually performed.
Every engagement is scoped individually. We do not offer guaranteed savings or guaranteed delivery dates; we commit to what is agreed in writing for your specific requirement.
Documented criteria
Every supplier assessed against the same agreed checklist.
Evidence-based
Findings report what was evidenced, not what was claimed.
Clear gaps
Unverified points are listed so you can decide on further checks.

Frequently asked questions
Do you carry out factory audits?
Formal factory audits are carried out by specialist third-party audit firms. We can coordinate them on your behalf.
Can you evaluate a supplier I have already found?
Yes. Send the supplier details and your requirement and we will propose an evaluation scope.
How long does a supplier evaluation take?
A desk-based evaluation typically takes days to a few weeks, depending on how quickly the supplier provides documents. Factory audits add scheduling time.
What do you deliver at the end?
A written summary of what was requested, what was received, what was verified, and what remains unverified, so you can decide on next steps.
