Halal meat & poultry
Halal meat and poultry wholesale sourcing
Beef, lamb, mutton, goat meat and poultry for importers, distributors, processors and food service — with halal certification verified for each supply chain before it is stated.
Halal Meat & Poultry
Availability, specifications and pricing are confirmed individually for each enquiry. Listing a product category here does not mean that it is held in stock.
Certificates are verified for the specific establishment and product before any halal claim is made in a quotation.
Halal integrity depends on the whole supply chain: slaughter, processing, storage, transport and labelling. Buyers and certifying bodies also differ in the standards they accept, including on questions such as stunning. A halal claim is only as good as the certificate and the body behind it.
Echo Core Ltd only describes a product as halal-certified when certification from a body acceptable to the buyer has been verified for that specific establishment and product. We also confirm cold-chain, veterinary and import requirements, including establishment approval for the destination market.

Frequently asked questions
Is all meat you source halal-certified?
Halal certification is confirmed per supply chain. We only state that a product is halal-certified once certification from a body acceptable to you has been verified for that establishment and product.
Can you meet a specific certifying body's requirements?
Tell us which certifying bodies your market or customers accept. We will only put forward suppliers whose certification matches that requirement.
Can meat be imported from any country?
No. Importing meat into the UK or EU is only possible from approved countries and establishments with the correct veterinary certification. We check eligibility before quotation.
What is the difference between IQF and block-frozen chicken?
IQF (individually quick frozen) pieces are frozen separately, so portions can be taken without thawing a whole block. Block-frozen products are frozen together in cartons and are usually lower cost per kilogram.
What shelf life does frozen meat have?
Shelf life is set by the producer and depends on species, cut and packaging. We state the minimum remaining shelf life on arrival in each quotation.
