Import and export coordination
Working with forwarders, customs brokers and inspection companies so shipments move with the right documents.
Import / Export Coordination
- Incoterms and responsibility mapping
- Shipping document checklists
- Coordination with forwarders and customs brokers
- Certificate of origin and product certificate requests
- Insurance and inspection alignment
Cross-border shipments depend on correct documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, product certificates and, for some goods, health or phytosanitary certificates. Customs clearance itself is handled by licensed customs brokers or the importer of record.
Where applicable to a transaction, we coordinate with your appointed or our partner forwarders and brokers, prepare document checklists, and align Incoterms, insurance and delivery responsibilities in the contract.
Every engagement is scoped individually. We do not offer guaranteed savings or guaranteed delivery dates; we commit to what is agreed in writing for your specific requirement.
Clear responsibilities
Who does what, and who bears which risk, written into the contract.
Document readiness
Required documents identified before shipment.
Partner alignment
Forwarder, broker and inspector working from the same information.

Frequently asked questions
Are you a customs broker or freight forwarder?
No. Customs clearance and freight services are provided by licensed brokers and forwarders. We coordinate with them as part of a transaction where applicable.
Which Incoterms do you use?
We quote against Incoterms 2020, commonly FOB, CFR, CIF, FCA, DAP or DDP depending on the product and route.
Who pays import duties and VAT?
That depends on the Incoterm. Under most terms the buyer or importer of record pays; under DDP the seller does. The responsibility is stated in the contract.
Can you help with commodity codes?
We share product information with your customs broker, who confirms the commodity code and duty treatment. Classification responsibility stays with the importer.
